DATE: April 12, 2018

TO: Pikes Peak Chapter, MOAA

FROM: Colonel Brian Anderson

SUBJ: Military Spouse Employment Forum, May 9, 2018 at Peterson AFB Club

I wanted to take this opportunity to personally reach out and make you aware that national MOAA is proud to collaborate and partner with Hiring our Heroes (U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation) to help military spouses find meaningful career and employment opportunities.  As part of this nationwide program, the “Keeping a Career on the Move” military spouse symposium event is scheduled to be held at Peterson AFB on Wednesday, May 9 at the Peterson Club.

The team has assembled a phenomenal program with a keynote speaker, an array of panel discussions, outstanding career employment presentations and ample networking opportunities. Ms. Amanda Bainton, Executive Director for the MOAA Military Family Initiative and I will attend on behalf of national MOAA.  We would be delighted to have you join us.

Also, we kindly ask that you broadly disseminate the attached flyer to your base/installation contacts, the greater Colorado Springs community, TOPS and Business Professional Group, and your fellow chapter members/spouses with an encouragement for them to share with others that may have an interest to attend.  Please note all attendees must register at:

Once again, we deeply appreciate your leadership and support.  Thank you for your national MOAA Board of Directors service, LIFE membership and all you do for military members, Veterans, and their families.  I look forward to seeing you next month!
